Eco-Friendly Promotional Products

According to a recent poll by Survey Monkey, 1 in 3 consumers prefer eco-friendly products. The survey stated that more than a third of respondents (35%) would buy a product that’s better for the environment over another that’s slightly cheaper. (https://www.surveymonkey.com/curiosity/more-consumers-are-opening-their-wallets-for-eco-friendly-products/) With organizations moving away from single-use products, here are our favorite sustainable products:  Reusable Straws:  Over 500 million plastic straws are thrown away in the United States each day. In the last few years, plastic straws have been replaced by paper, silicone, bamboo and glass options. This year, kiss the plastic goodbye and replace it with a reusable option. Most options come with a pouch or key chain which make them easy to transport.  Apparel: With our C-FREE line, we measured the carbon footprint of these styles and we’re neutralizing their impact with Carbonfree® certification. By purchasing carbon offsets, we are removing an equivalent amount of emissions elsewhere in the environment. Offsets are generated by third-party, verified energy efficiency, renewable energy or forestry carbon offset projects. Made from recycled polyester, our C-FREE styles are also snag-proof and moisture-wicking, so you can make a bigger impact in your office or workplace while making a smaller environmental impact. We also have tees that try to make the planet a little happier by using recycled cotton and post-consumer recycled poly.  Wheat Straw: Wheat straw is the stalk left over after wheat grains are harvested. Normally,  the stalk is treated as a waste. In some countries,it is burnt, which contributes to air pollution However, these stalks still have value. Recycled wheat straw can be used for paper and plastic products like lunch containers, tumblers, lip balm tubes, sunglasses and writing instruments.  Reusable Totes: In the United States, 380 billion plastic bags are used each year. Imagine what that does to our landfills. Replacing single use plastic bags with reusable totes. Using reusable bags will not only improve our environment and unclog our landfills but, Millions of dollars will be saved on the process of disposing of plastic bags.  Bamboo: Bamboo is a highly sustainable plant that efficiently stores carbon. Bamboo straws, plates, containers and cutting boards are a wonderful alternative to single-use products.  Make the switch to sustainable earth-friendly products this year. Let our team at Pica Marketing Group help you make the right, planet-friendly choices for your organization.
